Introduction to Religion vs. Science

Most people would always feel strongly about all the social issues in our world today. I personally feel strongly about the big debate between religion and science. It has always been clear to me that the difference between religion and science is the difference between thoughtless certainty and thoughtful doubt. As a lot of people already know, the religion vs. science subject has been studied since the ancient times and classical era. I think it all started with two groups trying to convince each other how life began, and they would do anything to make one another change their mind. This has been going on for at least 500 years and it affects people from all over and even wars started due to it. This controversy has entered our schools, religious teachings and politics. I feel that this debate can go on forever because science is based on discoveries and actual facts while religious people will always be in denial, no matter what scientists say. Children may be the most affected by this since they are being brainwashed to believe certain things. Will we ever know which side is the winner or who is right? Probably not. We might of even been brainwashed to think differently like we do now and these two sides will not agree with each other. The media has a lot to do with this too however, they also have a huge advantage in making this stop.
