Religion vs. Science on Websites and Internet

The Internet is the perfect place to spread the hate towards science and religion. Thousands of pictures or "memes" are posted to large organisations such as Face Book, Twitter, and Google each day. A lot of them target religious groups and science theories (more rare than religion). There are also much smaller websites that provoke those of religious beliefs and those who think scientifically. Put those two groups together and you will get some of the greatest debates or arguments that you have ever seen. People are also creating debates with made-up characters. An example of this is a debate I found online between a philosopher and a Christian student: http://www.zootle.net/afda/religion-vs-science.shtml . The hardest place to try to stop excessive disputes like these would be the Internet because of these thousands upon thousands of websites being designed for this purpose. The modern generation uses the Internet more than everything else, so this is one of the best places for propaganda or forcing people to think a certain way to fit in. If all of these arguments suddenly stop completely along with the provocative sites, just imagine how huge of a difference it would make!
